Frequently Asked Questions:
Q. Do you have a specific release date for the AG3: Spirit & Fire docuseries?
A. We currently do not have a specific release date for AG3. We originally hoped to have part of the series released by the end of 2023, but we've had major delays related to Dr. Michael Brown withdrawing his participation from the project. The current plan is for the series to be released in multiple "seasons" containing 8-10 episodes each. Season 1 is currently in progress (over halfway done), and we hope to have it completed by the end of Summer or Fall 2024.
Q. Why create a docuseries? How will this be different than the previous films?
A. The previous films were long (2 hrs. 19 mins, and 2 hrs. and 55 minutes) and for some- difficult to watch in one sitting. AG2: Christ Crucified was split into ten chapters, ranging anywhere from 11-28 minutes in length. On AGTV we converted the previous two films into Chapter formats in the "American Gospel: Chapter & Verse" series.
AG3 will take this same chapter idea, and expand that into a longer format; instead of chapters, they will be individual episodes which are around an hour in length. This gives us the freedom to tell important stories in detail, get into more theological depth in teaching, which the "NAR" and "Holy Spirit" topics require. This also means that this project is equivalent to multiple films in length. Once the docuseries is finished, we plan to make a shorter version for evangelism, which would summarize the entire series in a single film-length video.
Q. Will the series be released on DVD or Blu-Ray?
A. Eventually, yes. But DVD and Blu-Ray are the last formats that will be made available. The entire docuseries must be finished first before we move toward the process of making these available on disc. And because of the size of this project, it will require multiple discs. Again, we also hope to make a shorter, evangelistic version of the film, which would be easier to share, and would serve as a gateway into the more in-depth docuseries.
Q. How can we support the project?
A. First, prayer is our greatest need. Creating a film consists of making thousands of decisions, communicating with many people behind the scenes, which requires a lot of wisdom and mental capacity (multi-tasking). Second, since we are not non-profit organization (we can't received donations) we would encourage you to support us financially through subscribing to, or helping to spread awareness of AGTV (watchagtv.com). AGTV also has a gifting option which allows you to pay for the subscriptions of others: https://www.watchagtv.com/checkout/subscribe/gift
